ADHERE + DENY | MEDEA ETUDE
Adhere And Deny presented MEDEA ETUDE from November 16th to November 20th, 2004.
This fragmentary theatre invites the audience into the work to finish the story and conclusion of the tragedy with their own narrative by reassembling the data like broken pieces of archaeology. Adhere And Deny explored the essential core of Medea and her actions as villain and/or victim in this reduced and truncated study of the Euripedes classic. Through a series of crafted and precisely directed actions, and objects, the crime committed against Medea and the crime she executed against her culture is reexamined.
MEDEA ETUDE was performed by Victoria Prince, Nicole Shimonek and Nadin Gilroy. It was directed and designed by Grant Guy.
