ADHERE + DENY  |  THE TRAGEDY OF DR. FAUSTUS

Adhere And Deny presented THE TRAGEDY OF DOCTOR FAUSTUS from April 20th to April 30th, 2005.

The tragedy of Doctor Faustus is not just the loss of his soul to eternal damnation but what he does with his omnipotent power and knowledge. With universal knowledge at his fingertips Faustus instead uses pandemoniac powers to play sophomoric on the pope and lowly friars, to become a court conjurer for emperors and dukes and to sate his material desires.  And with the omnipotent powers to equal God’s, it is Faustus alone who denies himself redemption.

THE TRAGEDY OF DOCTOR FAUSTUS was performed by Graham Ashmore, Nadin Gilroy and Carolyn Gray. It was directed and designed by Grant Guy.
